Acquisitions When you engage a surveyor to acquire a property, normally they will undertake a search and locate a property for you. They will then negotiate a price. Howkins & Harrison provide all-inclusive packages which, in addition to those standard surveyor's services, also take care of the legal side. We also provide a schedule of condition. This gives you legal confirmation of the condition of the property before you sign the lease, and limits your liability for repairs. We then instruct solicitors on your behalf. The fee we charge covers everything. You don't have to instruct a lawyer separately – we manage the entire process for you.
