We are an established firm of property advisers committed to helping our clients in the residential, commercial and rural property sectors. With a regional network of offices, we provide a comprehensive service which encompasses the Midlands region as well as residential sales agency which is enhanced through our involvement with ‘The London Office’.
As a member of our rural team, you will be involved in a wide variety of work overseen by experienced members of staff. This will involve advising clients ranging from individual property owners and buyers to national developers and investors looking to maximise their property portfolios.
We have an immediate requirement for a qualified rural chartered surveyor at our Atherstone office to take on a wide variety of work.
Whilst your work will be based in Atherstone, the area we cover encompasses the whole of the Midlands region.
We will aim to offer an attractive package. This will include annual salary, holiday entitlement, expenses, full CPD support and company pension scheme.
The type of work will be varied and be dependent on your unique skills. Examples of the work undertaken by the successful candidates would be as follows:
The successful candidate will be personable with good communication skills, enthusiastic and motivated. You will be commercially focused, a good negotiator and able to work to achieve high professional standards for both clients and colleagues.
Our existing team of surveyors will offer full support where needed. Candidates will be expected to work using their initiative both on their own and as part of a team.
As your career progresses, so will the responsibility for clients and the type of work carried out. Outside work you should be willing to embrace the local area. You are encouraged to get involved in activities which involve you in the local community.
Candidates should be MRICS qualified whilst fellowship of the CAAV is encouraged but not essential.
You should be confident and have a desire to develop new business and client base over time as well as being commercially aware.
Our ideal candidate will be 3+ years qualified with a mixed range of work including agency, valuation, development, and CPO work.
