We’re delighted to announce that four of our graduate rural surveyors have successfully passed their APCs, achieving ‘Chartered’ status and becoming full Members of the RICS.
The Assessment of Professional Competence (APC)is the final step for graduates aiming to become chartered through the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). This rigorous process assesses a candidate’s competence across a wide range of areas, including technical knowledge, professional practice, interpersonal skills, and business and management capabilities that ends in an interview and presentation in front of three ‘APC Assessors’ based on the experience they have gained. Successfully passing the APC demonstrates that an individual meets the high standards of professionalism required to become a Chartered Surveyor.

This outstanding accomplishment reflects their hard work, determination, and most impressively, the way they worked together. By restructuring their training and revision approach, they created a supportive, collaborative environment where they challenged and encouraged one another throughout the process.
They were supported by the structured training program put in place at the start of their employment with us. This and support from our experienced team of senior surveyors and leadership team, who generously shared their knowledge, guidance, and time, by supervising their work, assisted them with the final reports as well mock interviews and discussion forums it meant they had the tools needed to go to the final interview well prepared.
