Farm Sales Report: 16.9.23 Grandborough Fields

With great weather and a full crowd at Grandborough Fields, Saturday’s sale had “something for everyone”!

With the main vendor retiring from active farming there was a wide range of farm equipment which concluded with the sale of the larger machinery and tractors:

• KTwo duo rear discharge manure spreader: £5,900
• Kuhn Primoral 3570M feeder/bedder: £6,800
• Griffiths 10T Tipping Trailer: £4,800
• Fordson Major Tractor: £1,420
• Belarus Progress 862 Tractor: £2,600
• Ford 3000 Tractor: £2,900
• Massey Ferguson 390 Tractor: £7,100
• Case International 956XL Tractor: £10,200

In the livestock section a Bateman Cattle Crush sold for £1,100 with the dividing gates and hurdles making between £110 and £410. Galvanised feed troughs made £180 – £200 and galvanised water troughs sold for £70 – £200.

With over 40 outside vendors there was a good mix of implements, machinery and smaller items which were split into two auctions. Of the larger lots the following prices were achieved:

• Polaris Ranger 900 diesel 4WD: £3,700
• Major 9FTGD-HD pro cut pasture topper: £4,200
• Commander Wrag hydraulic post driver: £5,300
• Marshall 10T tipping trailer: £6,800
• Massey Ferguson 1531 hydrostatic tractor: £6,900
• John Deere 3040 tractor: £8,400
• John Deere 6310 tractor: £23,000
